the construction of time

time manifests itself in space and space bears the traces of time; unfolds in infinite layers, abstract and concrete in one. time is light, shadow and everything in between. a breath a river a mountain; the draft of a life; an invisible shelter; a wide hall. all of this has nothing to do with clocks, seconds don’t exist. time is rather a boat; a phone call from afar; contemplation – time is. not to be owned, time is care and devotion; the longing to linger and the urge to set out. time is a craft that is learned by waiting and acting, each at the right time.
